        &nbsp;        
      Present:  &nbsp;         Ian Pittendreigh, Jacqui Pittendreigh, Carolyn Sims, Sarah Barton, Andrew Sims, Gary Dent, Carol Fitzgerald, Barry Taylor and Tim Mepham        
      Apologies      : Tim Carey Smith   &nbsp;  Tom Mepham        
      Devotions      :  &nbsp;   led by Ian from Philippians Chapter 4         
      Minutes of the previous meeting       held on   18  th    November 2009   were confirmed.  &nbsp;   Sarah/Barry.        
      Matters Arising          
    Church cleaning &ndash; Sarah has organised a new cleaner, who was as unimpressed as we were with the state of cleanliness.        
    GST-Tim Carey-Smith is going to register us.  &nbsp;   Tim Mepham advised that we hold off registering at the moment until the question of whether we pay GST on grants is finalized.        
    Elevate &ndash; Gore 12 Dec - Tom to give a list of names and phone numbers to Sarah.  &nbsp;   The Parish will pay the balance owing for the bus.        
      Standing Orders          
      Long term Ministry Working group -       a letter has been sent to the Executive Officer of     UCANZ last week.            
      Intern       &ndash; We are applying for funds from Presbyterian Savings and Investment, Synod and Knox.        
      Community Worker       &ndash; Approximately 80 attended the monthly skills meeting for November, all ACE funding receipts have been returned and a large advertising board has been purchased.  &nbsp;   Working with Melanie McNatty on a project around vegetable gardens.  &nbsp;   Met with the Principal of Wakari School and revisited the   CRE   programme &ndash; Brent Caldwell very positive.  &nbsp;   Provided morning tea for     Halfway      Bush     School     and the Doctors Surgery.  &nbsp;   Received a referral from the Doctors Surgery and will visit a young mum.  &nbsp;   Ian and Carolyn met with Principal of Halfway Bush School who affirmed our role both as   CRE   and a church.  &nbsp;   Kay Hamblin is assisting with funding applications.  &nbsp;   Attending several Christmas parties for the Church.

      Property       &ndash; Ray Scarlett is our preferred contractor for property work.

  They are great places to get to know others and build up relationships and usually include Bible study, discussion (often following on from the theme of the Sunday sermon)and prayer.
